Rules & Info
The challenge is to swim the full length of all 13 publicly accessible lakes as quickly as possible. All completions must follow the rules outlined below, and will be ratified by The13.info before being recorded in the Hall of Fame.

1. The time runs continuously, without pause, throughout the whole challenge. The clock starts when the swimmer enters Lake #1 and stops when the swimmer completes Lake #13.

2. The full length of each lake must be swum. To achieve this, each lake must start and finish at the exact locations specified (see Lake Guides for What3Words locations). The lakes may be swum in either direction.

3. The swimmer may complete the 13 lakes in any order.

4. Each swim must be recorded with time-stamped GPS. For transparency, the full GPS files must be made publicly available (e.g., via Strava) and shared with The13.info by email.

5. The use of swimming aids such as flippers or hand paddles is not allowed, nor is physical contact with any support boats used.

6. Records will be curated for wetsuit and non-wetsuit, and male and female, categories.
